firefox asks for vpn connection
I have a vpn connection defined in Win XP. I sometimes need it, and other times I use my extended network without connecting to this vpn connection. However, when firefox and thunderbird are running they sometimes randomly(?) ask me if I want to connect to that vpn connection. That sometimes really bothers because popping up connection windows prevent my actual connection.
What can I do to prevent firefox and thunderbird ask for this vpn connection? (I do not want to install any vpn connection software) |

Hi,
I had the same problem as you and find out an option in Firefox settings. To do so you should access the settings by typing 'about:config' in the address bar, and search for 'network.autodial-helper.enabled'. Set this option to 'false' and then restart the browser. It worked for me, hope it helps you too! :) Regards |
