problems with tabs
I want a new tab to open each time I go to a new internet site so I can easily go back to a site. How do I set this up?

After installation, it gives you several more tab options than just a default install Not sure of the exact setting, but after it is installed, restart FF and click on "Tab" then "TabBrowser Extension Preferences" on the menu bar to open the options |

Another good one is Tab Mix Plus
You can set it so all links and/or typed addresses open in new tabs. The latest version includes a session saver, so next time you start Firefox it remembers which tabs you had open and their full histories. Settings in Tools > Extensions > Tab Mix Plus > Options ![]() I'm using this one now so I can't check on Firefox's default settings, but even without any extensions I think you should be able to right-click a link and choose 'Open' or 'Open in new tab'. Other ways to open links in new tabs... Type the address and press CTRL-Enter. Hold CTRL when clicking a link. Drag a link and drop it in the tab bar.

I used a program called x-setup to acchieve my tabbed browsing settings. I'm not sure if the free version allows you to do this but its worth a try since it doesn't actually require an extention, it just modifies firefoxs' settings. You can find it here:

Has anyone tried this option?
![]() I've found I haven't really needed a tab extension since this was introduced. Also, if needing to open a link in a new tab, right click on the link and choose the 'Open Link in New Tab' option. |

I retract my statements about tabbrowser extensions. I found out that those may have been the cause of my FF problems. Mozill doesn't support or reccomend that extension |
