Netscape 8.1 crashes system

Netscape 8.1 downloaded and operated fine for a couple of days but crashes my system completely every time I try to use it today. I'm running 2000 Pro and have tried 5 or 6 times with and without other apps running. IE and Netscape 7 are running fine.

I found Netscape kept hanging after the upgrade to version 8.1. It just didn't work properly at all. The answer was to delete Netscape 8.04 entirely, including the Profiles folder (C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Netscape). It installed properly and worked well after that. Perhaps this would be the answer for your own difficulties.
