Opening WMV Files

]I frequently have wmv. file attachments sent to me.
Windows Media Player will not open them in Mozilla.
If I go to my webmail via O/Express the files open.
Can this be rectified.

Hi, and welcome to TSF. I don't have windows, so subsequently I don't have windows media player. So I can't shed a whole lot of light from personal experience. It would seem though that Mozilla hasn't been configured to know how to handle the .wmv extensions. In the preferences, downloads, look at the settings for how Mozilla handles downloads and opens files. Look to see that the .wmv opens with windows media player. If it's not set to do so, you'll need to configure it.

The .wmv extensions are not listed in in the download "file types" how do I load it in there?
