Can't connect to Gmail, my bank, my ISP
I am having problems logging in on these sites and others that use java.
My setup is four computers hardwired to a router then to broadband modem. Three of the computers connect without any problems,it is only my main computer (this problem is in internet explorer as well) I have reinstalled sun Java and tested it and it is confirmed as installed. I have formatted my drive and reinstalled Xp pro (it was well overdue so even tried that), I have no other firewall installed at present i have check my settings and have java enabled ,no popup blocker, have disabled my AV software while I try to Connect, have spent three days reading up on the problems and trying various solutions but to no avail. It's sure to be a simple tweak somewhere and I have overlooked it. Iwill be extremely gratefull to someone who can stop this old man from getting premeturely older. Thanks

Do you get any error messages? Sounds to me like it may be something other than java. Especially if the online test of your java installation is a go.
