Problems viewing camtasia videos with Firefox

Hi, Please could someone help me. I am having problems viewing a video which was created with Camtasia. I downloaded a zipped file and the camtasia video was within this.

I keep getting the following error message - The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires JavaScript to be enabled and the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here.

I have done what it suggests and still it won't play. I have also looked and similar posts on here and followed their advice and it still doesn't play.

Any advice would be so much appreciated as these videos are part of a course I am studying.

Thank you

Re: Problems viewing camtasia videos with Firefox

I'm going to guess you got a web page with either a swf or an flv file.
Do you have flash for firefox? And is javascript enabled in firefox? If you're using firefox 3.5, it's under tools, options, contents.
flash for firefox is at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Re: Problems viewing camtasia videos with Firefox

Thank you, I have downloaded flash for firefox and javascript is enabled. Not sure if flv, the document just says 'fireworks document'. I have tried to upload it to show you but the file is too big.

Do you have any other suggestions please?

Thanks
