I normally use a laptop with Windows XP and haven't ever had any problems uploading attachments with Firefox. However, since my laptop is being repaired I need to use my parents' computer and for some reason whenever I use Gmail it will not upload attachments.
Uploading anything, even on sites like Flickr, doesn't seem to work unless I use the basic uploader because the flash versions don't function. I know that most uploaders use flash, and I downloaded the latest version of flash but that didn't help. I also have the most recent version of Firefox, so that isn't the issue either. Then I tried a few other different e-mail servers, but they all use the same flash property when uploading attachments. Am I doing something wrong? ![]() Thinking that maybe Firefox itself was the issue I tried to use Internet Explorer - it said it couldn't connect to the internet. I downloaded another web browser only to result in the the same problem. Only Firefox seems to be able to connect to the internet... does anyone know why that is happening? We are connected to the internet through a wireless router if that makes any difference. Last edited by fenderrae; 10-29-2009 at 10:21 AM. |
