Downloading Problems
Hi, I recently got this weird problem with Firefox. Whenever I download something from the web, my usual habit is to close the browser (not the downloads window) and then wait for the download to finish.
But yesterday, whenever I close my browser, the download will also stop. Also, the "Download Complete" notification that appears at the top of the system tray shows up even though the download is incomplete. EDIT: But I also noticed that when I do not close the browser, the download always finishes. My operating system is Windows XP Service Pack 3. If it helps, here are some of the changes I made before the problems occurred: - Installed Veoh Web Player Beta - Installed Orbit Downloader - Installed a Windows Update and Internet Explorer 8. Thank you. Last edited by javee01; 10-27-2009 at 06:08 AM. Reason: Added Few Information |

Re: Downloading Problems
Hello,
Problem is still there, I recently had a Firefox update thinking it will solve this issue. I tried downloading from firefox again and deliberately closed the browser (not the downloads window). Again, the download just stopped then and there. Checking the file, it was incomplete. Cheers! |
