Firefox closes when Signing out of Yahoo!

everytime i sign out of yahoo or yahoo mail, i get a blank browser screen which leaves me with no other option but to hit the X to close it and just reopen ff. however if i just close the yahoo tab without signing out, this problem wont happen - only when i logout. Pls help. Thanks a lot.

which version of firefox are you using and what add-ons are installed?? is Skype add-on
installed??

it's version 3.5.3. i have installed skype but i dont see it in my mozilla browser. i did check the add-ons installed and it's not listed. there's a long list of add-ons but no skype. thanks!
