Going Back to Previous Versions
Does anyone ever just go back to a previous version of Firefox where everything was working really well or is there always problems on everyone?

Re: Going Back to Previous Versions
I stayed with Firefox 2 long after v3 was released because the new version didn't support some of the addons I use. Once they were updated, I upgraded to v3 and everything's working properly now.
What problems are you having with your current version?

Re: Going Back to Previous Versions
If you're having problems with your browser in anyway, please tell us, we are professionals.
If you're still wanting to get rid of the Fox and get an older, less attractive version, you can always try this http://www.oldversion.com/Mozilla-Firefox.html . You'll have to uninstall your current version first, of course, so download and run Revo Uninstaller, select "advanced" method, this will delete all folders, reg keys, and everything else that has any relation to Firefox. http://www.revouninstaller.com/ |

Re: Going Back to Previous Versions
I don't really have a problem with my Firefox right now. Going back to an older version of the software is just a new concept to me and I don't understand how you would know which version to get going. I've been looking through VersionDownload.com because it is a more functional site. What reference sites would you go to in order to find out what version has worked the best over time?
Thanks |

Re: Going Back to Previous Versions
Each new Firefox update fixes bugs from the previous version and adds new features, so the latest one is probably the best (unless the update introduces more problems to be fixed in the next update).
I'm not sure what advantages you would gain from using an older, less secure browser. Go here and click the links at the top right of the page (Features, Performance, Security, etc) to see how the latest version has evolved and improved, and here to see the bug fixes from 3.5 to 3.5.3 in more detail.
