Firefox Randomly Stops Loading Websites
Right i'm hoping someone can help shine some light on my issue.
The basics, Firefox (and IE) randomly stop loading websites after a certain period while on my laptop. When i first use it all websites load fine and it works normally but just randomly it stops loading them and it hangs on "waiting for <insert website name here> to respond. The same thing happens with Internet Explorer when Firefox stops and there are no error messages appearing. Now my internet connection is fine, as other programs which use it e.g. MSN Messenger work without any problems so i'm wondering why my browsers stop working all of a sudden. Just of note, my subscription to Norton 360 ran out a few days back so i've installed AVG and ZoneAlarm instead as i cannot afford to renew Norton, no viruses, spyware etc has been found by either of these programs and i've had no problem regarding them. Hope someone can help as its frustrating constantly having to restart my laptop just to get access to websites. |
