Automate regular site visits?

I would be very grateful for some help with this: I want to visit a weather site

http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDE00902.loop.shtml

every four hours, download the four sequential GIFs and save them. They are presented as an animated sequence and are named consecutively.

I want to do it because I can't find a free site that allows weeks or even a whole year's worth of satellite weather images for observing seasonal patterns.

i could make you a custom program, but that's about it..

You need something like a java script or php script to do this for you, ain't sure about it but TJ might be able to help you.
