blocking certain pop ups.

So when trying to watch videos and stuff this site pops up SOO much,

www.kevinsmoneytree.org

and its some scam BS but when you try to close it, it asks if ur sure and then again and its just SOO annoying..is there anyway to permanently block this site from opening up?

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I can view the site in Firefox 3.5.3 without getting any popups (actually, I've never seen any popups at all when using Firefox). Do you mean popups or new tabs?

If you're getting KevinsMoneyTree popups while viewing other sites, your computer might be infected with spyware, or it could be the video sites that you're visiting. What videos have you had this problem with? Have you run any scans yet?

You might want to consider installing the Web Of Trust addon which gives a fullscreen warning and the option to close the page before you enter phishing/scam sites like KevinsMoneyTree.

awesome thanks! ya it was from going to sites, cause it happened to my girlsfriends laptop, it opens a new window and then starts talking to you about some BS then when you try to close it, it pops up again telling you to not pass this over up blah blah.

Ill try blocking it, thanks again.
