Thumbs Down BSOD on using IDM with Firefox

Guys im having a problem with my currently installed internet download manager which is integrated with firefox latest version..

The thing is when i try to download something the usuall download box of IDM appears to start or to cancel download, but when i try to cancel it my system displays a sec of Blue screen and my system restarts by its own..

Im using latest version of both firefox and of IDM..
i dont have any problem when i use different download managers but as im with IDM for the past 2 and more years and i use my rapidshare account it..it was working fine before but now its giving me some problem.

Here are the further details if you guys need to solve the problem

OS: Windows XP professional SP2
CPU: E6300
Ram:
2gb DDR2
Mobo: P5kpl-cm from asus
GPU: XFX GTS250
PSU : CM 430W

Now please dont tell me to use a different browser or to use a different download manager coz you know if i m with these both i.e ff and idm theres a reason behind it :)

Thanks

waiting for your replies.

My System

Re: BSOD on using IDM with Firefox

To see the blue screen without the computer restarting, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Startup & Recovery Settings button > System Failure and remove the checkmark from 'Automatically restart'. The full BSOD message and Stop error code will help pinpoint the cause of the problem.

Have you tried using IDM with all your other addons disabled?

Do you only have this problem with IDM when using it with Rapidshare?

Hello, jayzzy.

PLEASE, follow these instructions on this page: http://www.techsupportforum.com/1871981-post2.html

After doing so, attach the output files in your next post . . .

THEN . . .

I'll analyze them!

Re: BSOD on using IDM with Firefox

Do you have any files in your "C:\Windows\Minidump" folder? If so, zip and attach them.

What exactly were you referring to? I was unaware there was even a download manager "installed" (so to speak) with the any version, let alone the new version.

One of the main reasons for the third and last BSOD I received was "IDman.exe" which is a component for a download manager.. WHAT one have you downloaded?

The module name couldn't even be found for this thing.. are you sure you didn't install it yourself? What's it called? Where did you get it?
