External Browser not opening
Hi there, I recently updated firefox to the most recent release (3.5.3), and ever since, I cannot open Firefox, IE, Safari, or Chrome. The Internet is functioning; I can access it via the AOL software. However, trying to use any outside browser will not function. I tried disabling firewall protection, but the browers still will not open. Any other suggestions or ideas?
Thanks! |

Re: External Browser not opening
Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox? There have been an issue security wise as well; did you run the installation as Administrator by right-clicking the installation file and selecting Run as Administrator?

Re: External Browser not opening
Have you tried simply pinging a popular host such a Google?
START > CMD > ping "www.google.com" What are the results? It should say something like "sent=4, received=4".. |

Re: External Browser not opening
OK, did that ping results:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 12ms, Maximum = 14ms, Average = 13ms |
