Hi folks

FF keeps hanigng - Firefox is not responding.

I had this problem a while ago but then it went away.

I then downlaoded a Rank-chekcer toolbar and the problem came back.. with a vengeance.

I've diabled tht toolbar but no change. I've since disabled a bunch of other tools bars.

And I still get the same hanging.

Sometimes it gets going again after a few seconds. Other times it's 30 seconds and others I have to closed it down.

Any ideas plese?

Try removing the toolbars rather than simply disabling them then run scans for spyware/adaware now last but not least in Firefox click help>check for updates and install any available updates.
