Question Need help!!

hello,
I have the latest Firefox browser,and it was working fine until recently.It keeps tell me that its installing my updates. and takes a long time to open a page. The problem is I havent changed or made updates.. also theres this box that that keeps on coming up that says, "platform not compatible" ??
im reallly confused.. can anyone help me ??
