Re: firefox error message 0x5a9288f8
I have this same message when trying to open firefox. Happened directly after downloading the latest version of Firefox(3.5 something.)
Currently using Opera, 'til I can get Mozilla going. thanks Last edited by freelisard; 10-18-2009 at 08:22 AM. |

Re: firefox error message 0x5a9288f8
Are you running System Mechanic?
If so then updating this program may do the trick. I have also read that renaming the file ioloHL.dll (C:\Program Files\iolo\Common\Lib folder) has helped others. Please note that I have not had personal experience of that method and am not sure what, if any, effect it has on System Mechanic. Otherwise you could revert to a previous version of Firefox until the bug is fixed - http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php
