Weird Error

i'm getting this when opening firefox

(Could not initialise the application's security component. The most probable cause is problems with files in your browser's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard drive is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the browser and fix the problem. If you continue to use this browser session, you might see incorrect browser behaviour when accessing security features.)

my HDD is not full and i have no idea how to do the other thing any help would be grand thank you

Re: Weird Error

Hi,

Can you tell me what version of FF you are using?

Also, I would like you to try starting FF in Safe Mode. Depending on what version you have it might just start up or you might see a box that pops up. If there is a box with check boxes check all of them and then choose to start FF. This will help to figure out if it is a problem with an addon or an issue with firefox itself.

Cheers!
