Re: yahoo or google search

Sounds like your search engine has changed, what version of IE are you using?

Re: yahoo or google search[MOVED]

I think there are viruses on your computer or clear the cache or temporary internet files or just try uninstalling and install the internet browsers again...! I think it might solve your problem because sometime I used to have same kinda problem.

Re: yahoo or google search[MOVED]

I did try to clear the cache and the temporary files in the folder " Temp ", but it won't allow me to delete it and shown an error that " the files are being used by other program", i guess that is virus. What should i do now ?

Re: yahoo or google search[MOVED]

Are your initial searches done from a browser toolbar or from the search website (google, yahoo, etc)?

The Temp folder can contain files that are being used by the operating system or other programs, not necessarily virus-related, but your redirected searches do indicate a possible infection.

Have you run any malware scans?

If you think you might have spyware or a virus, please follow these instructions and start a new thread in the Virus/Trojans/Spyware forum where an analyst will help you as soon as possible.

Re: yahoo or google search[MOVED]

It's normal for files to be in the Temp folder, but we won't know if any of these files are dangerous until you've run a security scan.

You can do an online scan with Trend Micro House Call, Kaspersky and several others.

You should already have an antivirus program installed. If you don't have one, Avast, Avira and AVG all have freeware versions (only install one if you don't already have an antivirus).

For anti-spyware, you can use Malwarebytes, SpyBot or Ad-Aware.

If, after running the scans, you would like a more thorough analysis of your computer, please follow the links in my last post.
