Firefox just closes window

Lately my firefox just stops and turns off the window to whatever site. Before this started happeaning I had this blue screen that would pop up and shut down my computer.
It said something about making sure hardware or something is installed correctly but, this stopped and then firefox stop to work.

I assume your IE is working fine. Try reinstalling firefox to correct the problem http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html

No my IE has not been working since I moved to using firefox but I'll reinstall firfox and report back.
