Firefox is not allowing any sound on my pc
I have an interesting issue. My computer will play music and the like, but it will not play any sounds if I am say, on Youtube, or anything else actually on the internet. Any ideas?

Re: Firefox is not allowing any sound on my pc
In other words, you're having problems with flash videos.
Try this: http://www.codecguide.com/fix_for_fl...d_problems.htm If that doesn't work, try #7 and 8 on this page: http://www.techsupportforum.com/micr...ml#post2183125

Re: Firefox is not allowing any sound on my pc
No sound from flash videos is sometimes a very difficult problem and other times it's a very simple problem. In your case, it seems to be very difficult. I was helping another person for two weeks and two hundred posts, but I was still unable to solve his problem. (This is a list of things we tried: Sound Problems Identical To Murderhewrote ). Then there was another person who I was helping with the no sound from flash videos. He ended up doing a Windows Repair, but that still didn't work.
Maybe someone else can come up with a better idea, but keep in mind that your final option would be to format your hard drive and reinstall windows xp.
