Firefox crashing in XP and Vista

Firefox (newest version) is crashing all the time now; two different computers (XP Home, Vista 32). Uninstalled properly, searched for all FF files (only 1-2) and deleted manually.
Re-installed older stable version, no add-ons, no change and it up-dated automatically.
Have not tried in safe mode.
Help please........first post here.

I am having the same problem and still havent been able to fix and no one knows anything else to help

Even though it appears you are experiencing the same issue, please create your own thread as it is very difficult to keep track of the progress made when there are multiple people needing help on the same thread.

Well first thing i would do is try in safe mode. Then test to see if it happens with other browsers.
