Problem loading hotmail and aim.com

Hi,

Hotmail.com will not load and hasn't for the past few days. I get this error message:

"The server at www.hotmail.com is taking too long to respond."

Don't know what's wrong with that, but then I tried to login to AIM and that wouldn't load either. When logging in It's stuck on "connecting" though once it went to "transferring" but stayed there also. I thought maybe I'd try reinstalling AIM, but then aim.com wouldn't load either, and I get the same error message I got from hotmail. Same with facebook.

All other websites are loading fine.

I'm running 64 bit windows vista. And I've done a registry cleaning and virus/spyware/etc. scan and found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Re: Problem loading certain websites

Boot into safe mode with networking and see if you can load the pages.

Make sure all security software is disabled

Re: Problem loading certain websites

Im also having this problem, very annoying. Some sites that won't work when I type them in, I try searching them on google and clicking on the link from there and it will work.....other sites just don't work fullstop. We were also having the same problem using IE, but on our laptop it was all working fine. If anyone has any idea what the problem could be please let me know. Thanks
