left click download
I just installed Firefox 3 on my vista laptop and when I left click on something I want to download nothing happens. I can right click and save as the link but I can't just left click it. My left click works. How do I fix this?

Re: left click download
As in the left click doesn't open the context menu? Is this on every website or just one in particular? (If it's just one, go to options->Content and click the button next to enable javascript, then uncheck the "Disable context menus" checkbox).
If you can't work it out, can you try opening ff in safe-mode? ([WinKey]+R, type "[Path to FF/]firefox.exe -safe-mode", press Enter) If you can right click in safe mode then it's likely to be a rogue/uncompatible(bumped?) add-on. Cheers, Jamey |
