Firefox - No Sound?
Okay so I'm doing my brother a favor and I'm gonna try to fix this for him.
Firefox on his computer doesn't play any sounds when he's on webpages and stuff. He says he thinks it's because he deleted System 32 when he did a virus scan. Any advice? |

Re: Firefox - No Sound?
Is this only in Firefox, sound works fine everywhere else including other browsers?

Re: Firefox - No Sound?
Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Multimedia section and enable 'play sounds in web pages'.
If he's deleted important system files, run scannow /sfc. Instructions here: http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html You could also try reinstalling the browsers and updating the chipset/device drivers.
