Re: Download on PC. Install on MAC
cotir2005,
Was this the page where you downloaded the Mac Firefox version? --> http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html You should be able to download it from there and then cut (or copy) and paste it to a flash drive and then move it over to your Mac desktop since it's a *.dmg file type (aka Disk Image). I was able to transfer the download (all 17 MB of it) to a USB flash drive but I don't have a Mac to see what would happen next. ![]() At what point did the process stop working for you? |

Re: Download on PC. Install on MAC
It looks like it is supposed to work ( some info). Check the file that you've saved on your PC to make sure that it hasn't tried to add something behind the dmg extension which can happen sometimes. Are you using FF or IE on your PC when downloading the file? I'm using FF when trying it and it shows as a dmg file. Also make sure that you are trying to open it from your Mac's desktop (by double-clicking) as it mentions in the second link from my first post. It is OS X that you are using on the Mac, isn't it?

It looks like you'll have to use one from this list. WaMCom and iCab seem to be the ones that are mentioned quite a bit. Here's an Apple forum thread from last year that discusses 9.2 browsers. ---------------- Now playing: AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long via FoxyTunes |

Re: Download on PC. Install on MAC
I recommend iCab as a fully functional internet browser that works on OS 9. The link is to the download of version 3.0.5, which is the last version that worked on OS 9. This version is still maintained, so it should be more secure than most other browsers available for OS 9.
