Firefox Crash

I am having an issue with Firefox it crashes every now and then when I go to zylom.com. not exactly sure why it does it. I already done everything they recommend doing before uninstall and reinstall.
the add ons I have are
ADBlock Plus
AVG Safe Search
Avg security Toolbar
Java Quick Starter
Password Exporter
I have tried without add ons and still got the same problem. I end up just uninstalling and reinstalling each time and wish to know what causes the problem
I have never had a problem with my add ons

Re: Firefox Crash

Hi,

Can you give us some more details. Now that you found the problem we need to know what the exact problem was and then we can try to help you fix it. Treat this similar to a bug report, tell us all the information that you know. Then we can sort through it ans try to come up with a solution.

Cheers!

Re: Firefox Crash

I have had a problem with the flash, I read on adobe's site that they are coming out with a fit for the problem. I was using an experimental add on called mute flash, it worked on the site but I went and navigated away from the site and it crashed. I went to zylom with out the add on and it crashed, never happened before Firefox 3.0.10 or before the recent update to flash
here is a screen shot of the info. I can't copy and paste it

Re: Firefox Crash

Hi,

Can you just tell me what add-ons you have. They numbers don't mean a lot to me. That might help. Then we can go from there.

Cheers!

Re: Firefox Crash

Thanks, I don't need the plugins too. I just wanted to know what the add-ons were to see if we can pin this down to an add-on. Have you tried running firefox in safe mode. This would run firefox w/o any add-ons or plugins. Then you can see if it is a firefox problem or an add-on/plug in problem.

Cheers!
