im online, but still get 404

as title says, im online, WoW works, MSN works, everything except my browser is working, ive tried all sorts of pages, google, WoW sites, everything in my bookmarks, just keep getting the error so its safe to assume theres somethin wrong with my firefox, any suggestions? (for the life of me, i cant seem to find a way to open IE either, to check if its ALL browsers or just firefox)

another thing, some of the sites give ''directory listing denied, This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed'' and the only things google would help on that matter was with HOSTING websites, so im stumped

Hi,

I would check and see if your AV software has updated lately. That my be the problem. It seems to be happening to a few other members too.

thanks, no idea how it happened but uninstalling AVG sorted it :) thanks again

I would try re-installing it in a little bit a day or so. It seems that a lot of AV software did updates that screwed with FF.
