Firefox - Bandwidth question
Something about Firefox that's puzzling me -
Even when I have only a blank Firefox tab open, there seems to be some internet activity going on in the background (Network meter shows transfer rates between 5- 30 KB/s). This stops the moment I close Firefox. I don't experience this with IE. Once a page loads the internet / network activity stops with a 0 reading on the network meter widget. What's going on? How can I track the nature of this and figure out what's causing this unexplained activity? |
