Question I have tried EVERYTHING. I dont think anyone can fix this but will be very impressed.

It will not load but crashes instead I get the following message.

Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts. To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report. (even if I click "restart firefox" the same scream pops up.

Firefox will not load at all in regular or Firefox "safemode". The onlytime Firefox will run if WINDOWS boots into safemode (ie. startup services not running).

I have done the following "self-help" measures: Rebooted several times; reinstalled firefox 3 several times. Searched my entire computer for every file/folder named "firefox" and "mozilla" and deleted them. 4. Searched regedit forthe same and deleted most of what I found. 5. Ran CCleaner and Adaware to clean everything. 6. Spent my entire day attempting to fix this (pulling my hair out)

FYI
I Fixed it
After running 4-5 different Antispyware programs to remove some trojans....it magically works.
So it was the trojans that broke it

Hi,

You might want to have a look at this. They can help you with further virus removal, if you want.

Cheers!
