[SOLVED] Erasing browsing history on Firefox 3.05
On occasion, I do go onto a few 'adult' sites. Hey..I can't be the only one here. Cmon...
Anyways, I have about 20 bookmark and the 'adult' site is NOT one of them. So when I clear my browsing history, it normally clears everything except for bookmark sites. However, recently, I can't seem to get rid of the 'adult' site. Whenever I use the drop down bar, there it is....."Meatygirls.com".....j/k. I go to "Tools", "Clear private data", and make sure browsing history is checked along with everything else, and clear but it still shows up. I even run Window Washer and that still doesn't do it. It's still there. How can I get rid of this pesky website on my browser bar? Any suggestions? |

Re: Erasing browsing history on Firefox 3.05
To keep url's from showing in the address bar open firefox then in the adressbar type about:config click OK on the "void warranty" warning
then in the filter bar type browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped and change to true to do this right click then select toggle. then just below that entry will be browser.urlbar.maxRichResults change this to -1 right click then select modify after doing this there will be no urls in the address bar. |
