Pop ups?

this is getting beyond a joke.. when i go on a site, it gets replaced by a popup.. says i have a popup blocker with google toolbar!
how do i get rid of this adware?

Hi,

What are rouge, the popups? That shouldn't make a difference. If you are having problems with adware you need to get that taken care of first then we can deal with the pop ups.

One way to curb the pop ups is to edit your host file, or you can get one from:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Also I've never had much luck with Googles pop up blocker, I will use Firefoxes.

I did not say it would fix the problem, I said it would CURB the problem. Running the spyware / malware programs only clean the cause of the pop ups it will not prevent them, the host file prevents them from recurring.
