Aftermath of Broken Links and Unloaded Images

I just rid my computer of a handful of viruses and malware, but my Mozilla Firefox, even after reinstalling, still does not load some images, websites, or other stuff, and my internet browser seems to lag a bit. How can I fix this? IE can't load some images (replaced with 'X') either. Will get some screenshots when photobucket decides to load.

Hi,

Have you made sure that you have all the correct plugins and addons? That would be were I would start first, and see what that gets you.

Cheers!

Re: Aftermath of Broken Links and Unloaded Images

I uninstalled FF 2, reinstalled, uninstalled, deleted the files, then reinstalled, uninstalled, deleted the files, then installed FF3, but it still doesn't work.

Additional information:
Some sites do not load on either FF or IE!

Re: Aftermath of Broken Links and Unloaded Images

Seems like Flock works fine.
Also, Firefox lags badly now, some images aren't showing (until a few refreshes are done), and some searches don't load (until enter is pressed a few times). Same for IE. Also, some pages' setups are messed up and look like some stuff is put into a corner o_O

Not sure what you mean by this? Have you looked to see if you are leaking memory with any of the extensions that you have installed, and what extensions if any do you have installed?

Cheers!
