PDF Files
I'm running the current 3.0.5 version of Firefox in XP. I'm being tortured trying to open pdf files. I have Adobe 9 on my machine. So far I have removed and reinstalled Adobe. I tried the Nitro add-on in Firefox. I even tried Foxit with no luck. I've been in the add-on option box to confirm how a pdf is opened.(for nitro). I've been in firefox's preference box to confirm what option is selected for pdf files.
When I try to open files it gives me the option of what to use. The option I want isn't there even when I browse. Even if I select something the box for do this everytime is always greyed out. I can download using Firefox, but then I still can't open the file. I know I'm doing something very wrong. I assume it's a setting issue. I'm at a loss. |
