And from an hour worth of Googling, I think I've decided it's because of my 64bit processor. Downgrading to 9 doesn't help anymore than the hour of Googling did. Thoughts?
O, BTW, I'm no longer using SP3 as my avatar man says. I'm using SP2 again. XP Pro. 32-bit.

Re: Flash crashing Firefox
Hi,
I am guessing that by your post you were using flash 10, and then downgraded to 9? Have you tried to install the plugin for FF? You probably didn't need to totally re-install your os. You could have tried to just install FF 32bit. Cheers!

Re: Flash crashing Firefox
O, I didn't reinstall my OS. This is a new system as of 2 days ago.
I tried both FF2 and 3. Flash 9 and 10. I've solved this with a plugin called NoScript. It's not ideal, and a lot of sites I have to manually allow to get the most of the features, but it's solved my problem.

Re: Flash crashing Firefox
Hi,
Glad that you were able to fix your problem. Sorry that is wasn't ideal, but I have to be honest, since I have been here at TSF, I have seen so many flash problems with FF3 that I hope that something changes with the next big update. Otherwise I am not sure what we are going to do here. Cheers!

Re: Flash crashing Firefox
Yeah, but I was having the exact same problem with FF2. Apparently it has something to do with 64-bit processors. I don't see what if I'm not using a 64-bit OS but... I don't know... Yeah, there was even a couple items about the problem listed right on Adobe and all unresolved. Not even a reply to any of them.

That doesn't really suprise me too much. A lot of people don't know as much as they think and the developers don't really check the forums that often from what I have gathered. I am glad that you came up with a temporary fix. I don't know if you have any interest in it but you might want to have a look at Opera. It is a pretty good browser, I know that some of the members on here use it and love it. Just something for you to think about. If you want I can mark you thread as closed. Or you can do it. Just go to the thread tool -> click Solved. Cheers!
