Firefox wont let me login, email, deviantart accounts

Hey there,

I was wondering what is causing my Firefox browser not letting me log in with deviantart, hotmail and a few more accounts. I'd also like to know if there's a way to fix this. Also, sometimes Firefox will not load websites which makes me have to restart Firefox.

I scanned my computer for viruses and malware/spyware with Avast!, Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Nothing was found.

I appreciate any help you guys can give me, and sorry for my bad english. :P

Hi, welcome to TSF

Most sites that have accounts use cookies to store your account details. Check in the Firefox options (Tools > Options > Privacy) to see if cookies are being blocked.

Firefox is not blocking cookies. What can I do? This wasn't happening until a few days ago. =(

Hi,

Have you installed any addons that might be blocking cookies? Even some of the pop-up blockers can cause problems with cookies.

The installed addons are the following ones: Adblock Plus, NoScript, Web of Trust and Keyscrambler. The interesting part is that I've always been able to login with any account in any website with these addons. Maybe I configured them in some way without realizing, that prevents me from logging in?

Bump... Also, I can only stay logged in for the time it takes me to post a reply, then it automatically logs me out.

Hi,

Have you tried to view the pages from FF in safe mode. That will run FF without any addons. That way we can see if you can reach the pages.

Hi,

Click on windows icon -> programs -> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).

It didn't work. =( But I noticed it's just not refreshing the page since I tried logging in with another hotmail account and it said I was already logged in with my other account.

Could it be a virus or something? Because this has never happened to me.

Hi,

It is possible that you could have something on your computer. I would do all of your scans and see comes of it. Also, make sure that you don't have more than one AV running at a time. That will throw things off from one scan to another.

I scan it everyday with Avast!, Spybot Search and Destroy, Malwarebytes and Ad-aware and it never finds anything. I also update these regularly.

And what's AV?
