[SOLVED] Bookmarks and the address bar

Is there a way I can stop my bookmarks from being displayed in the address bar drop down menu?

I've had a thorough search through the Tools/Options menu but can't find an option.

Cheers,
Kim

Re: Bookmarks and the address bar

Thanks Peter, it does indeed look like what I'm after.

Just one thing though... where on earth do I find the 'about:config' page?!?

Re: Bookmarks and the address bar

Type 'about:config' into the address bar, like instead of www.google.com, put that. Then under filter, type what the example shows.

Re: Bookmarks and the address bar

Thanks Peter. Option C made no difference, while Option A did the trick.

Re: [SOLVED] Bookmarks and the address bar

So you don't have the drop down menu at all now?

Re: [SOLVED] Bookmarks and the address bar

Nope, nothing at all when I click on the small drop down arrow at the extreme right of the url bar nor any auto-suggestions when I start to type in the url.
