Incomplete downloads on Firefox
I was downloading a game demo that was 1.7 GB and was at around 800 MB when the download cut out. What I have is a 20 kb zip file and a 800 mb zip.part file. Is there anyway I can start downloading from this point, instead of starting from scratch? I tried to google it.

Re: Incomplete downloads on Firefox
Hi, welcome to TSF
If you were using a download manager like FlashGet then you can resume the download at any time without losing any data. If you were using Firefox's built-in downloader you'll probably have to start over.

Re: Incomplete downloads on Firefox
For later reference...
Sometimes I've been able to continue a download in IE by going back to the link...but usually trying that before IE was closed. I guess it all depends on if it stays in the temporary cache after the downloading stopped. As to Firefox, it might have stopped because your download list needs cleaning out. If the list gets too long it can start corrupting current downloads.
