Cannot load Facebook

Hi, I know this probably seems a trivial problem...but it really bugs me! Every so often i find that i can not access the facebook page...hmepage/profile etc. Cant even get as far as the log in page.
I get a "failed to Connect" error. I can access every page i want to, i turn of my firewalls etc...i have changed any browser settings. I use Firefox...but I.E does the same as well.

My pc is linked to my partners for the internet.

I sometimes have an inkling he might be doing something to block the site...either on my pc or through his...but i cant be sure and dont even know if its possible!

Thanks

Re: Cannot load Facebook

Hi,

You don't know what the exact error is would you. This would really help us figure out if it is a server error on their side or a browser error on your side. If you can come up with what it is that would be great. Otherwise there really isn't a lot that we can do for you.

Cheers!

Re: Cannot load Facebook

I said what the error was! It cannot load page...says failed to connect.
Ummm...yeah my cookies and cache are cleared every few days and my pc has had a a defrag and i have checked all the internet connections and tried it with my firewalls turned off and tried it with internet explorer...same result.
I can get on at mo...so can not check the exact error ...but every so often it does this and its only this site.

Re: Cannot load Facebook

Hi,

Let me be a little bit more clear with my question. Do u get a number with your error message. Take a look at this page Http Error Code reference. This isn't a list of all of them but a list of the most common. See if any of them if.

I am concerned about this statement. I wonder how many firewalls you are running on your computer? This could be part of the problem also.

Cheers!
