[SOLVED] blinking typing cursor

ever since a relative got on my computer, whenever i click a blank area in firefox, a blinking typing cursor (the straight line) will show up at the end of any text that is on the line that I clicked

Hi,

Can you tell me what version of FF you are using. Also, you might want to check your history and find out where your relative went to, this will also help as you can start to narrow down any sites that might have installed something on your computer.

I would also recommend that you run all of your scans. If you don't have a scan for av, spyware, malware etc you can look at this site.

Ok. Run all your scans with updates, and see if you come up with anything. Then fix what you find.

i found out what was wrong. i had the caret browsing feature turned on
