mozilla utorrent problems

hi
when utorrent 1.8 .. is working i have sometimes problems with mozilla and explorer-!! mozilla is freezing and i cant understand why??
i have 24mb internet connection , and Firefox 3.0.3 .
when utorrent is downloading with very small speed and uploading also with small speed i haven problems again sometimes!!!
i think u torrent creates me problems with any program that uses internet connection!!
can i make same arrangements to the utorrent program so other programs work better???

can u advice me sth :)
