Websites looks weird....

I know this issue because I solved it before but my old age is showing because I can't figure how to fix it now.

A few of my websites are arranged very strangely. ESPN and CNN.com has all the links on the side bars. The whole page is "White" except for the links. The pictures are not arranged properly. They are way at the bottom of the page. Everything is arranged differently then it should be.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I'm using Firefox 3 right now. Again, this is only happening to a few websites. The rest are OK. Is it some kind of setting that I need to adjust?

Thanks-

Re: Websites looks weird....

I just wanted to say that I am having the same problem. Only for me, some websites won't load at all (wikipedia, weather.com, and a few others) and others look strange like youtube, myspace (sometimes) and random others. Some are totally normal. Youtube claims that I don't have flashplayer or I have java disabled. I have both, and java is not disabled. When I click on the link that says "get flashplayer" that page will not load, but I can push the browser back button and the site looks and runs normal. I have to do this for every video in order to watch them.

Things that I have done to try to fix the problem:

~Tried a different browser...internet explorer 7....same problems...

~Plugged my internet connection directly to my computer instead of through my router and home network...no change...my other network computers are having the same problem by the way...

~turned off firewall to check...no change...

~convinced that this was probably some horrible virus, I first scanned my computer with bitdeffender and used ccleaner to clean registry files and did a panda online scan.....found nothing.....

~I then uninstalled all of my sharring progams (limewire and utorrent) and ran a scanner again...no change...

~ I re-downloaded the newest versions of flash player and java...no change...

~ I recruited the help of my IT/ Networking friend....he couldn't figure it out....

~ I then, frustrated to no end, backed up my files and restored my computer to factory condition. With none of my files put back on the computer, I connected to the internet using explorer first, then FF....still no freaken change!...

Alot of people on random forums have contributed this problem to linksus routers and network settings....I had this problem before I had a linksus router and I tryed connecting directly with no network...this didn't work. Alot of people on the web have this problem and no one knows what is causing it.

I know I'm tired of not being able to use wikipedia and weather.com...
I hope that my trial and error will help your problem be solved.
