pls. help me who knows how to block website in mozilla firefox?

Block a website? as in stop people from viewing it/it from loading in a popup?

This add-on stops a link to the site being clicked: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3145

If you want to stop the site from ever reaching your pc you could add it to the hosts file:
- Click start-run
- Type "notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
- Press run
- Append the line:

Code:

127.0.0.1 www.thewebsitetoblock.com

and any time www.thewebsitetoblock.com is requested (by a browser etc) it will redirect to your own PC.

I've tried to block it to the manual blocking site but it still running in mozilla firefox only in explorer block the site...

i just want to block it and if there's no school I can unblock the website that I block it.. pls help..??
