Mozilla Ad-Blocker-is it OK to Use?

Hello all,

Will this FF add-on, prevent anything important from loading on a page?

I mean, is it an OK thing to add, or unnecessary?
Thanks.

I have been using it for several years now without any problems. It does good work. Use adblock plus and adblock filterset. In addition get flashblock since a lot of ads are flash.

As far as blocking anything important - never. One thing with flashblock you may get some thing blocked that you want to see so just right click to view would take care of it.

Re: Mozilla Ad-Blocker-is it OK to Use?

I am using this, and its brilliant (Adblock Plus), but i have been having problems with advert diversions to sites such as digg.com. I have posted asking for help and don't think it is Adblock's fault. If it is I will post on here, but if it's something else then I recommend it because life is better without ad banners!

not sure exactly what you mean by "advert diversions" but I never had any problems with adblock.
