Backing up profile from FF 2 to FF 3
Okay, just installed a new HDD and before I took the old one out, I backed everything up. I used FEBE to backup my firefox profile from firefox 2. After reinstalling vista on my new HDD I downloaded firefox 3 and installed it. I went to add the FEBE add on, but it doesn't work in 3, so I don't know how to import my FEBE backup in FF3.
I haven't formatted my old bootdrive yet, so if all else fails I could hook it up again, boot it, install Mozbackup, save my firefox settings then put my new one in, boot it and add the settings to my new HDD but is there an easier way? I really don't want to have to take my old drive out of its external enclosure, unhook my PC and take the case apart, put the old HDD in, install mozbackup...you get the picture, it'd be a pain. I still have all the program files and application data on my old hard drive (now in an external exclosure). Could I just take the files from my old program files/application data folders and cut and paste into the mozilla program files folder on my new HDD? But what files would I need? Can somebody give me the directories where this information is saved? I want my bookmarks and saved passwords back. Thanks

Re: Backup and Restore Mozilla Profiles, Bookmarks etc
Okay, I figured it out. On my old HDD I went to Users>MyUserName>AppData> From there I went to both the "Local" and "Roaming" folders. Each of those folders had a "Mozilla" folder within it. Each of the Mozilla folders had a "Profiles" folder in it. I simply cut and pasted these "Profiles" folders into the corresponding location onto my new HDD, started Firefox and bam - all my cookies, passwords, history, bookmarks are all working in FF3!
AppData is a hidden folder so you have to go to folder options to show hidden folders and make sure all firefox windows or closed so you can cut and paste the files.
