[SOLVED] FF 3 Online Video Playback

When I go to sites like Metacafe and Youtube the videos stream for about 2 seconds and then the video stops. I've noticed that the video will continue to buffer and if I click another spot in the video then it will play for another two seconds! This problem only started once I converted to FF3. Another thing I might add, I read a site on how to tweak the FF3 browser to go faster so that might have something to do with it.

Could you help solve my problem?

Re: FF 3 Online Video Playback

Well i don't think the problem is firefox, nor the flash design, a few things to check:

1) Flash player version: Tools->Add-Ons->Plugins Check the version[post it]
2) Flash settings: Right click in the flash window and click settings/properties See if theres anything to note which could be stopping it...

Also, try adding "Video Download Helper" as an add-on and see if you can download the videos in full... (or if they stall) ... it's simple to use just google it and read =]

Post back with more info

Cheers,
Jamey

Re: FF 3 Online Video Playback

Thanks for your response! I appreciate the advice, but it looks like it actually was an early Firefox bug or just me not clearing out my cache.
