Firefox problems, internet very slow (malware, spyware, virus)

My internet explorer was not connecting to the internet even though i have great internet connection and no firewall was blocking it at the time. Even when it did connect it ran extremely slow. Mozilla Firefox ran much better than Internet Explorer, but still was running very very slowly. I thought I had a virus or some spyware so i ran norton antivirus, as well as pc tools spyware doctor and it detected that i had some trojan viruses so i deleted them. Then i ran Ad Aware and Spybot and they detected that I had some malware so i also deleted that. Also, everytime I run Ad Aware it detects some tracking cookie file even though i delete it every single time. And sometimes there is a window that opens in Firefox about scanning my computer for malware and i have to exit the browser. Any help?

I believe i have a virus of some sort but it won't delete. Firefox is the only thing that goes slowly on my computer. Everything else runs fine. Any ideas why this is so and how i can stop this. When i open sites like google and youtube the pages load okay, but when i try to open pages like myspace and facebook it takes 10 plus minutes.

You are obviously infected with something
Post this thread in general security and/or Hijackthis logs (after running a HJT scan) ASAP to receive assistance on removing the malware
