I don't know when it started doing this, but every time I visit a page, and then close the Firefox window and come to open it up again later, it doesn't remember it...
I know it is hard to understand without understandable terms, but It's like this, Usually before if i open a flash game and then close it and come to play it the next month, it loads the second time in seconds, while these days, I've to reload it everytime i open the game... Is that a problem in the computer or Firefox? Sorry if my explanation is not good enough... (Note:- I'm using Firefox 3.0) |

Re: Problem with remembering
Hey, check your "Clear Private Data" settings, (Click Tools->Options->Privacy Tab) Click the settings button in the "Private data" section.. and see if "clear cache" or whatever is checked (this will clear the cache [which is what i think is happening in your case]) if it's checked then uncheck it and see if that makes a difference[if the private data is being cleared when firefox closes])...
It really is hard to work out exactly what's going on sorry i cant be of more help Cheers, Jamey |

Re: Problem with remembering
Okay, try type in the address bar: "about:cache" and see if the cache has stuff in it? it does sound like a cache thing from what you've told us but it's hard to diagnose...

Didn't really understand much, I'll just show you it.... (I've noticed that the Offline cache device is totally empty, but I dunno if this is the problem)

Re: Problem with remembering
hmm, i really don't know what the problem is, both state they have 50000+Kb to use and yet they're not? try clearing the cache (using the clear private data option in the options[and make sure you dont clear stuff you want[in the settings things like "saved passwords"] ])...

Re: Problem with remembering
I've removed all the private data, and did a "Disk Cleanup" for the C:/ Drive, removing the temporary files, 'Don't ask me how will this help, I've just did it', but still, no good, I really appreciate your support, at least I know now that probably the problem is in the cache, I'll try to look up some Firefox Help Contents, Hope that helps...

Re: Problem with remembering
I've played with FF3 a bit. Not used to it yet, so I'm back in FF2. But I think there's a place somewhere in the Options that says something like, when I open firefox again use my last tabs-windows. It says something along that line. And I think it might be in a drop down list. I believe it's where you go to set your homepage..."Content" maybe? When I saw that, I realized that's probably FF3's built in session saver.
Edit: Also, I kept wondering where the heck were my multiple tabs as I browsed? There's a setting someplace to make FF show them too. lol!
