Restoring Firefox Passwords/Bookmarks From Old HDD
On an old HDD, I have Firefox set up with a bunch of saved passwords and bookmarks. Although the drive is readable, it still cannot boot, so I can't run a backup/restore program on that. So how would I transfer them to my new Firefox installation on this new HDD? Or would there be a way to repair the boot sequence so I can run the restore program?
Thanks for any help :) |

Re: Restoring Firefox Passwords/Bookmarks From Old HDD
If you have Firefox Bookmark sync (Bookmark addons) and you can boot up Firefox from within your old HD then you could merge your old bookmarks with you new Bookmarks.

Re: Restoring Firefox Passwords/Bookmarks From Old HDD
This sight helped me fix the problem
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/...+older+version It is as easy as copying the signons3.txt or signons2.txt file to to correct folder. Last edited by SHALAROSE; 02-01-2009 at 02:48 PM. |
